About StayTidy GM
What this is
Housekeeping oversight for the person who is accountable for it. Room inspections, preventative maintenance and per-attendant results, captured on the floor and kept as a record you can show.
Most hotels already have a system that records room status — clean, dirty, inspected — which is an assertion by whoever cleaned it. Far fewer have anything that records whether the work was verified, who did it, or what was found. That gap is the whole of what this is for.
What it deliberately does not do
- No invented numbers. No adoption counts, no ROI percentages, no star rating. When there are real ones — measured, at a named property — they go in with the source attached.
- No single health score. A weighted blend of unlike quantities is a figure nobody can interrogate and everybody ignores the first time it disagrees with them. You get the counts that produced it.
- No per-room or per-user billing. One price per property, by band. Room counts change constantly, and a quantity synced against them drifts and eventually bills wrong. Charging per seat would also discourage exactly the people you want using it.
- No photos in a shared report. A report link is forwardable by whoever receives it, and a lost and found photo can show a guest’s passport.
- No contract, month to month. A GM can hold spend authority and still have no power to bind the property to an agreement — that is legal review, an owner signature and procurement. It is how a tool costing less than the problem never gets bought. Larger rollouts are a different conversation, and the top band is priced by arrangement for exactly that reason.
- No feature gating. Every plan includes every feature and unlimited staff accounts. The bands are about property size, not about withholding things.
